Joshua Butek, better known as "Alfred of Wessex" in The Ballad of the White Horse movie, is one of our FPC "Starcharters"--or, adult mentors of the Club members. The other day (although, truth be told, he wields a Fountain Pen already), he received his official FPC Pen--made of apple wood, to evoke the river isle of Athelney in G. K. Chesterton's epic poem. Hmm . . . what is he writing with it?
